I am not usually inrigued by political gossip (okay, just a little, but I try and avoid it), but if Guido has seen the tape he is legally obliged to tell the police (my learned friends can tell me if I am wrong here), or else he is mentioning tittle tattle in the hope that by blackening the govts reputation (and avoiding naming a minister for fear of legal action) by spreading word that one of them has been involved in drugs, is helping to cause further damage.
Another example of tabloid blogging?

That is absolutely ridiculous. I know every1 likes gossip and MPs should behave with integrity as they are members of the legislature.
BUT they are just normal human beings after all. Does anyone really care if they enjoy a joint every now and again.
I think the aim is humiliation and embarrasment. Guido is a Conservative so I am not that surprised, but I would like to think I wouldn't do that to the opposition
Then they must legalise it, otherwise it's hypocrisy. "One law for them, one law for us"
Yes, I get your point; but do you actuallt know many people who have been given a custodial sentence for possesion?
The point I was making is that every1 does things they shouldn't from time to time and to be quite frank does anyone actually care?!
For instance I could not care in the slightest that cool dave did cocaine when he was at Oxford and neither did the rest of the country.
I agree Adele, although I draw the line between past and present, and yes, it depends on the situation.
C'mon coppers...
Did Paul just admit there that he "draws the line"??? :-o
Not that line Kerron (yawn)
Try to be more original there's a good chap! ;)
