Doctor Who - Utopia Part II

No spoilers for now but...

Watch it if you get the chance. It's frightening, it's fantastic, it's almost a pleasure to see someone return (and no, I don't mean Captain Jack, although it's good he is back), and it's enough for you to want to return for the next fortnight

It's a belter of a cliffhanger. And that in a series with some tremendous writing. It just keeps getting better and better.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the ending of the Rose/Ten storyline (even though the SMUG was getting to me by the culmination) but I would have to say that personally I think this season has been one of the most consistent with perhaps only the Dalek story letting down the side somewhat (and this from someone who felt a need to defend it at that point from swathes of angry finger-pointing).

Getting to this point has been a joy of a ride and my excitement is only tempered by the knowledge that there is only two more eps of the season to go.

It was brilliant. I thought Simm at the end was a bit flmboyant, but I liked the change that happened with Jacobi. That said I think "Saxon" is definetly going to be more than a match for the Doctor
