Should have mentioned the latest in the Dorries Vs Hilton War but have only just noticed it, see here.
Its certainly increased my respect for Alex, if I had done something where I had to apologise in those circumstances, I would have found it difficult and taken a deep breath before doing so, irrespective of legal action. So kudos to the Monkey!

Are you having a laugh? Do you honestly think that Alex suddenly decided that what he did was wrong, and apologised? He even mocked Nadine on his blog in the few days after the original exchange of blogposts with some extremely mature name-calling - I somehow doubt he just woke up one morning and realised the error of his ways.
Hilton's hand was clearly forced on this one - maybe by Nadine's lawyers.
Whether Alex meant it or not is not the issue, the fact that he did is.
