Kelvin's Bottled It..
Well he may well be pragmatic on this issue, but does he have the courage of his convictions to put his views to the test of the electorate? And maybe he shouldn't have gone around last week and opened his big mouth about possible plans until the ground was tested first! I think that says, once again, about Mackenzie's lack of proper judgement

Gordon, of course, hasn't?
Well I use that phrase with regards to Kelvin Mackenzie because he has used it on Gordon Brown. In any case, Labour are under no obligation to stand as a) the Party is rather divided on this issue and b) so are the Conservatives actually and they called the by-election and we should be under no obligation to let them dictate the terms of debate to us
