Women Bishops in the Church of England - The Result

Am happy about this, esp as I am one of those who regard women in ministry as "Biblical". After all, depending on how you define the priesthood or what constitutes a church, who was it who first proclaimed the Risen Lord to the Church?
In any case, as I mentioned before in-depth, I think that if one is for women priests, or even tolerates their presence, then why object to women Bishops! And if you are against women Bishops, why not women priests? It's a natural progression surely!

It's about time we had female bishop's; for far too long religion has been used to subjugate women.
Now, there are just a few more religions to join the 21st century in recognising women as equal in God's eyes and there will be true equality.

It's not women in ministry that's the issue - it's woman in church leadership - ie with authority over men that's the issue.

We mustn't let Political Correctness dilute Christian doctrine

I'm so happy to read a positive comment on the issue. Many Christian blogs are doubtful, downright disapproving, or giving all sorts of doomsday horror stories about gay bishops to follow....
