I think
this is a good idea, although I am concerned on how this might affect Europe. However I can see this being popular in the US and we must do more and take a leaf out of their book and look at ways of being less dependent on other countries with regards to energy.

It's never a bad thing for a country to try and support itself and be self reliant but the US are very good at it - they don't like importing goods or manpower from abroad at the best of times.
Why doesn't the British government have the same idea?!
