Given that in just a few days we shall see Barack Obama in the White House, I will be showing speeches of every President since (and including Kennedy) which is either memorable, and/or speaking on an issue which defined their Presidency. Today we look at President Kennedy's televised speech in 1963, stating that legislation would be put through to stop segregation in the US.Followed by President Johnson's speech in 1968, stating that he would not seek re-election for another full term as President.
