The Value of Dignity. Something Sir David Attenborough's Opponents Should Learn!

I was saddened but not surprised to read about this! It's disappointing that such people lack Christian forgiveness, or a desire to persuade (although I am no "creationist"). Its also sad that they cannot seperate conviction and attitude and, like many, use evolution as a pivotal argument as to belief in God, or indeed the Christian faith.

Actually you are a creationist - i.e. you believe God created the universe. You may not be a 'young earth creationist' which you join Attenborough in mocking, but everyone is either an atheist, a creationist or you hedge your bets like a Lib Dem, there is nothing else.

Note the inverted commas around the word "Creationist" in my post. In this context, the word carries symbolism and meaning in areas one might not like

Whether or not someone agrees with David Attenborough's views there is no excuse for that sort of attitude or response.

I do take exception to the fact that evolution is taught as fact when it has never been proven conclusively and personally I think it should be taught alongside creationism, which isn't even specific to Christianity.

In response to Neil's comment, not everyone is an atheist or a creationist - what about agnostics - what do they believe about creation?
