I can see his point, and I have no doubt that at some stage many who voted for Brexit will regret it, but I doubt it will be as soon as next summer. Blaming events and others will come first, given the enormity of last year's decision.
The interview is a reminder however, that whether one agrees with him or not, Gordon Brown has a lot to contribute to politics as an elder statesman in terms of ideas and advice. Hopefully that will continue
