On The Increasing Likelihood of a "No Deal Brexit"

What is depressing about this is the increasing sense that neither side is prepared to fully compromise. The EU need to go into detail in public about what they object about the Chequers Agreement and for some compromise that goes with the result to be hashed out, subject to a second referendum. The alternative is the nightmare of being fully beholden to a Trump administration and all that goes with it, and in that situation you can eventually kiss goodbye to the NHS

What exactly is unclear about the EU's response to the Chequer's proposal? They have been unswervingly consistent ever since Brexit was first mooted. Do you really expect them to reiterate their core principles every time the Conservatives come up with a new kind of cake?
