UK Ministers Concerned About "Brexit Compromises"

Let us be honest here. Due to the make up of the United Kingdom, the closeness of the result, the situation with Northern Ireland, the percentage of people who wanted Scotland to leave the UK in 2014, a hard Brexit is not just financially horrendous a proposition, it isn't all that viable. Cabinet ministers are probably keenly aware of that, but are too scared of those whom they feel answerable to. A UK government is meant to not just listen to, and consult with the British people, it is meant to lead. The camapign to leave in the run up to the Brexit referendum has dodginess all around it, without some senior members of the government being so craven. Yet again, a sure sign a second referendum is so badly needed
