Thought for the Day CMLXXXVIII

2 Chronicles Ch 8 tells of the prosperity of the reign of King Solomon and some of his achievements. He rebuilt or built various cities among the territories where he ruled, and brought his wife who was the daughter of the Pharoah of Egypt to live in her own palace, which he built for her, because King David's Palace was too holy
Some of what King Solomon did will not be approved of in today's sight, but we can learn much from what he did here. We must asire to be Holy, but more than that we must also show a willingness to serve in the work that we do, and to show due reverence where possible
