Doctor Who sceneario

Following the justified success of Doctor Who in the past year (and I will miss it tomorrow, but still there are always the repeats later in the week), I was wondering what each bloggers choice of Doctor Who companions (no more than three) would be if they were the Doctor!

Mine: K9, Sarah Jane Smith, Nyssa

I would also suggest Ian, Liz, Harry,Romana, and Thurlough but that would be cheating ;).

Lists of companions if stuck can be found here.
Tagging: Kerron, Jo, Lola, Tim, Dunadan, Lisa Rullsenburg, all the Andrews.
(In a bit of a rush to do links there, but they know who they are! ;) )

I do not know who any of these companions are so am thoroughly unable to compile any kind of list.

What, not even Rose and K9!
I suppose this just shows what kind of a sci fi nerd I am! :/

Can I vote for (on the basis of his last performance) K9? A fine role model for dogs everywhere.

You certainly can!

Darn, I forgot "Ace"...

Not among my favourites.
That said if you chose Adric I would think you had lost your senses! ;)

Who was that Kiwi air hostess - Tegan? I'd have her.

Looks like being a really fun evening tonight if you are going to be sitting there all miserable and checking your watch every five minutes between 7pm and 8pm :)

Hopefully that won't happen!

As for Tegan. Wasn't she a bit bossy and mouthy! However I suspect thats not why you'd pick her!
Hmmm...Sarah jane is obviously top of my list...

Bugger, I'm liable to have to the same list as you.

Okay, I was always rather keen on Romana. And yeah, no getting away from it: K9. Cos he was always so much more than just a 'tin dog'.

Ah but would it be Romana I or Romana II?

Tegan Jovanka was Australian - really wish you lot would learn to tell the difference.

Tegan and Leela
Hmm, depends on the story. Head says Mary Tamm, heart and memory says Lalla Ward.

Not sure why.

Well I am still mourning the departure of Mickey...does he count?

But number one answer is of course K9. How could it not be?
Paul Burgin said…
Mickey does count because he did travel with the Doctor.
Lisa, I can see why you think that because Mary Tamm's Romana was always so sensible, whereas Lalla Ward's was sensible, and yet very witty and great fun as well.
