Jo's Journal in Hiatus?

One of my favourite bloggers in the past year is Jo Salmon. I don't always agree with her, would hate to get into an argument (because even if I didn't lose, I would feel second best), and yet there is something about her blog that is cosy, familiar and has become a small part of my life on the Internet. Rather like watching Parky on the TV, but best leave the analogy there! ;)
So I was surprised to read this morning that the Jt Numero Uno blogger of Oxford may well be doing a spot of light blogging.
I can understand and empathise with the reasons, but just to let you know Jo that you are missed and some of us will look forward to the time when you are back into the swing of things! :)

While I agree there is something reassuring about her blog, I think you are worrying about nothing with regard to Jo's personna. The personna of intimidation is a smokescreen to hide her own insecurities. Don't let it bother and always fight your corner against her. If you do that, you'll overcome your fear in no time.

While she has been able to shock me, not once have I ever felt intimidated by her. I'll explain it in greater depth once I've completed writing my psychological profile of her (I'm just over 1,800 words through it at the moment).

Well I know that you both don't get along, but I am not worrying about anything to do with Jo's persona :), she is just very good at taking a stand and I was actually saluting her debating skills!

I get along with her for the most part. Unfortuanately Jo, like Gordon Brown is a partisan zealot who bears grudges against others.
