It's the Cost of Living that defines the 2015 election!

Six months ago I mentioned that what resonates with voters is a simple question! "Are you better off than you were at the last general election!" It is one that, with the cost of living crisis, resonates with voters in the UK at this time! And indeed it is one that has been picked up by the Labour Party!
The Conservatives can talk all they want about recovery, but if people see their travel tickets and the items they buy in shops go up in price, and their wages remain as they are or go down, then that tells them that the economy is not doing so well and they themselves are suffering.
Obviously recovery take time, but four-five years is enough to see some personal improvement, even if minimal, but if there is none, or it is worse than before, then the government needs to ask themselves some awkward questions and to prepare for opposition
